Baier: My name is Katie Baier and I was born and raised in Billings, Montana. This is my second year teaching and I am thrilled that I get be part of the Elder Grove staff. I was paraprofessional last year and within the first week I knew this is where I wanted to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. When I was in 6th grade I had a teacher who greatly impacted my life and from that moment I knew I wanted to become a teacher. I am committed to helping students achieve their full potential and becoming a well-rounded person. I love children of all ages and have worked with them in many different capacities. I have a strong work ethic and I am compassionate and empathetic. Flexibility and a good sense-of-humor help me to work in many situations. My greatest satisfaction as a teacher comes from seeing students engaged and enjoying learning. What I strive for in teaching is that all students have a personal growth. I am very thankful to continue my career at Elder Grove and that both boys will get to attend Elder Grove. My husband and I both agree that ours boys are very fortunate to get to come to such an outstanding school.
